Rosenbloom walks into Murphys with his backpack, like he just got out of Pysch 101, complete with the bottle of Dasani as he might be parched while walking from his dorm to class.

Comes in bitching about how Jim Decastro doesnt know shit about running a sports talk station and he only knows how to suck shriveled old penis's to get the money to do this venture.

Which is the most important part. THE MONEY.

Anyways, after bitching about it he says to Mac (kinda loud) "I'm sorry, I know you want to work there."

Sounds like Rosenbloom has talked to Jimmy D, or had an interview, or some type of possible regular show that didnt pan out and he seemed kind of pissed. (100% my rumor)

Normally, I wouldn't post this shit, but I dont want to be KC'd and it's Rosenbloom 'Welcome to the Cheapshots Rosie" - whom another guy who has a ton to say about Beth Murphy when he isnt sitting right in front of her.

For the record, I said hello to Ms Murphy. She said Hello back as she recognized me from the local meeting. Where, I have stated that while I might disagree with her side of the story, it is not my job to decide it and the people who are paid to have taken way too long.

I know Rosenbloom still writes his snarky little column for the Tribune. As we've discussed, there are issues with a media giant controlling all these different outlets and Tribune Co. will likely have to make some kind of move before they can take the Game to a new frequency. Also, a lot of these Tribune guys have signed on to the Score with, at the very least, a tacit blessing from Tribune Tower, if not outright encouragement. But when contracts expire, I can imagine there might be pressure brought to bear on these writers to come over to the associated station, no?

Although, I realize that the radio gig is probably better than the newspaper gig these days.

He's a C- or D-Lister who thinks he's an A-Lister and has never had a noteworthy role on any show on any station. He's pretty much the snarky, negative version of Teinowitz, only far less successful. He tries way too hard to create catchphrases and then drives them into the ground within minutes, his "too cool for the room" act is brutal, and he goes SO far out of his way to be negative -- I think he think he's being cleverly skeptical -- that it all rings hollow.

The only thing he's useful for is calling out Bernstein on his shit when he co-hosts with him.
