This probably isn't what he's referring to, but years ago Rosenschmuck dismissed Patrick Roy's opinion about something because he was "just a goalie." Ironic is a subjective thought.

If you sat in a bar on St Patricks day with a bunch of drunk irish state employees, who are going to run the booths, voting HQ, for Judges etc etc and take a 2nd day off in a row (I will only guess paid) as they elect officers to some other bullshit organizations at the same time and cast votes on drinking laws, referendums, maybe, just maybe, you too would find something ironic that day?
