I have to be delicate here, because this can easily be throwing stones from glass houses here, but here goes:

it's not necessarily that Score listeners look pathetic, or are pathetic, but Score listeners trying to dress up for these roasts always look hilarious.

It's probably too much to expect the average Score listener to own a fuckin' sports coat.

I feel like even those who aren't wearing red or aqua ties with black dress shirts are the people to whom it would occur to wear red or aqua ties with black dress shirts.

I do not own a sport coat. I'm not really sure what one is. Do they have to have elbow patches?

Only if you're Robert Young.

I don't own one either, nor do I own a tie. I guess that makes me the lowest if the low and I'm okay with that.

My jeans are new, only because I lost 70lbs. My wife is pretty good at updating my underwear. So, I'm good there, too. She is not allowed to throw any T-shirts away, however, know matter how awful they look.

I'm guessing she follows that policy throughout her life.

Lucky for you.

Terry is even more hilarious. The guy has been making mid six figures for the better part of 15 years and on the one day he should be dressing to impress he cannot find a suit. He looks like a city employee at a fundraiser for which he was forced to buy a ticket.

Terry has a lot of balls for ever making fun of the way anyone looks or dresses.

 That is a perfect description. My friend Jerry who died always bought a table at a Republican fundrasier to honor his chinaman, Roger McAuliffe. It was at that place on Belmont, 13 Colonies. Our table was always the best dressed. And I was always the sharpest looking guy there. Except for maybe the year Jim Edgar showed up. Before the dinner got started Jerry would always throw twenty bucks to each of the Polish waitresses. One time Jack O'Malley asked me why our table had so much extra beef and chicken.

I read some posts in the Mac section about Mac criticizing some of the participants at the roast. But nobody really explained it well. Who did he criticize and for exactly what reason?

He said that no one really "roasted" or went after Doug. Bernsie said that Doug had some medical procedure done which may have softened the tone of some of the roasters.

I saw a few pictures from the roast & Doug looks like he lost a bunch of weight.

And Mac had beef with roasters leaving before Buffone spoke.

Doug would seem to be an easy target for roasting without even having to get too personal with him.

I would have started the roast with jokes about the much younger wife and gotten run off the stage by Doug, but I understand these guys have no sack when they are face to face.

Was that blonde on the stage Buffone's wife? Nice.

I thought it was Kerry Sayers for a minute.
