I'll be staying in downtown Minneapolis Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Just curious if anyone
had any suggestions for entertainment or dining experiences worth checking out.

Ok, thanks. I knew there was something like that locally well known. I'll try to check it out.

Hells Kitchen for breakfast is a must. Brits is a cool place for drinks.

I spend a lot of time in Minneapolis on business & I love the area...at least in the Summer Months. The place for steaks in Minny is Mannys on Marquette in the heart of the city. For Sushi, go to Crave in the city on Hennepin. I eat at Crave every time I visit Minneapolis. If you are looking for a little shoe modeling, the Downtown Cabaret, formerly The Shiek, is the place to go.

By the way, there is no Coopers Hawk in Minny!

Thick cut is an understatement. They're like bacon steaks. That place is so damn good.

Minny is not a hotbed of culinary talent, but:

- Red Stagg
- Any of the Crave locations
- Haute Dish (the one in the city, not the airport)
- Anchor Fish and Chips
- Butcher and the Boar
- herbert's and gerbert's (any locations)

are all on my list of go to places there.

Bars: Grumpy's and Lindy's (this one is in the burbs)

Probably a little late on the response here, but Smack Shack is one of my favorite places in the country.
