It didn't seem to affect Pauly yesterday when he got a pinch hit in the 9th inning off the same pitcher.

When was this? I have a very hard time believing that when Randy Johnson, Greg Maddux, and Pedro Martinez were all in their primes.

I would've kept Flowers in there, but I don't think it was a terrible call.

If either the bullpen or the defense can improve to league average, this will be an entertaining year. If both remain this bad, it's gonna be another long summer.
