Not really, but it's Friday so I'll let them have it. Mac is coming off a pretty laid back and blistering effort on Thursday when his partner was someone not named Meat. It was good, it was OK, it was fresh and probably awkward for Meat having to listen (if he was listening, you know he was) to Mac shower 'Batty with praise and how he likes to work with him, how is is at ease with him......OUCH. Not a good sign for Meat when it comes to things and stuff this Summer.

But anyways, I'm going to have my quality time with the Boyz today, plenty of drive time. When I get home it's time to crack some New Glarus after I get home from throwing iron around.

Mike is right, I believe Meat is dropping in when his XRT duties are finished. I am not sure who is parterning
with Mac today. Looking forward to a good show. This has been a meat grinder of a week and I could use

I was listening to "The Night Game" with Mark Carman and Connor McKnight last night and Connor was heaping praise upon the Cubs' broadcasters for the professionalism they showed in working a 16 inning game the previous day and working another game that day and not complaining about it on the air. Carman, to his credit, said "Whoa, whoa, I don't know how remarkable it is that they worked 6 hours one day and 3 the next. Let's not get carried away."

In the early days of the Score, some writers working as hosts or appearing as guests would occasionally complain about the quality of the (free) food in the press box.

Hmmmm.... anyone remember the guy whose nickname was "Meatpants" back in the day??
