Mac = Out

'Batty = In

Hopefully we get another 3 hours of the "Smart Guys" telling us that hockey fighting is stupid and doesn't accomplish anything...and then quickly cover their asses by saying they are really entertained by it. That was some trying stuff, yesterday. Take a 5-10min topic and repeat yourself 56.5 times throughout the show. Mac did the same for two weeks about that guy that hit that "Hawk, can't remember the names but he was all over it for weeks.

Hopefully they actually talk about stuff today although the show was alright.

Thoughts and Prayers,

SomeGuy.

Yeah, that was a tough listen. Dumbass drinky with his "fighting isn't part of the game" bullshit. Fighting has always been part of the game. Maybe drinky just doesn't like hockey. That's cool. I never remember him or bernstein complaining about fighting when the Hawks sucked. I never remember them talking about hockey at all.

That commercial on the stream where Clark Kellogg is talking about San Diego State is like nails on a chalkboard. The way he whistles when pronouncing the letter S is brutal.

Jesus fuck, it looks like a huge chunk of the show will be spent talking about and dissecting Josh Freeman as a SECOND STRING QB.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!$!%!!&!&!

You have to admit it was surprising the bears would be interested and Freeman.... tells me that perhaps he's had to lower his asking price to near or at the league minimum. He is an intriguing talent, strong arm, tall only 26 with 3 years starting experience.... but given how his 2013 went that's about all he had going for him right now. He was an effective player in 2010 and 2012, so if he can be had on a one year deal for the vet min, I'd be all for it... let the QB whisperer get McCown like performance out of Freeman for the 5-6 games Cutler misses this year

Holy fuck. I counted five "evey" in this Schuster Rogaine spot. Couldn't they have tailored it to the reader? Hell, find a new one altogether. I want to shoot my radio EVEY TIME I hear him.

How the hell does one make it to adulthood and not learn to say "every" correctly? How is that even possible?

Grimace's money-fantasy just proves what a slothful waste of space he is. Can't believe he said that out loud.

It was something like a wall-sized fridge with a built in staircase :shock: and over-sized chairs that turn into toilets at the touch of a button.

My av is Neil Fallon and Dan Maines from the band Clutch.

Drinky complaining that during the accepting of the outstanding player of the tournament award isn't a good time for Shabaz to get on his soapbox. Actually Drinky, that would be the best time to do it.

:lol:

Glad I'm not listening. That sounds like a terrible thought by drinky.

It is really is a question about being gracious. In terms of having an open mic and big stage, you are right. Personally I'd prefer to hear it in another forum, think about the way Colter went about his unionization drive. Colter was very classy and got national attention.

I believe one of Jordan's speeches (hall of fame one maybe?), he just came off bitter and angry. It leaves a bad taste in folks' mouths at a time when everything should be celebrated.

I picture meatpants' wall sized refrigerator to look something like that wall sized wine cellar at the las vegas restaurant. If he wanted some food he would have to hook himself up to the trapeze artist contraption so he could jump all the way to the top.

Yeah, that was Jordan's HOF speech. And yeah, people were upset by it. But like many people have pointed out, expecting anything other than that from Jordan was to ignore everything that made Jordan what he was.

I don't think that's comparable to Napier's shot at the NCAA last night. I'm not sure I would categorize it as more classy to ignore the elephant in the room. I like that he addressed it quickly and to the point.

I know people sometimes joke about that, but a chair that double as a toilet is pretty disgusting. If that's your idea of opulence...yikes.

Why should he be gracious? Why should he care if the people watching TV are forced to listen to the truth? Most people don't want to hear it in any forum, hence why it needed to be said right then. Nobody will listen or care if he said it later. Maybe Napier saw how "classy" Colter was and that he was still ripped by the public for not bowing to his gracious NCAA overlords.
