They have what, like 7 or 8 hits now in this inning alone?

Great night for your boy Semien too. I'm warming up to him.

Every Sox hitter in the lineup except for Gillaspie had a multi-hit game.

He has the type of game that will be underrated by nature. He seems to grind and improve at every level.

I would call them his numbers from the first 8 games this season.

.921 OPS? I'd say that's pretty damn good so far.

Flowers has to be the most pleasant surprise of the season. I don't expect it to last but I also never expected him to have an 8 game stretch hitting almost .500 at any point in his career.

Probably the most pleasant surprise, but Alexei has been really nice to watch so far too, at least with the bat.

He made a play deep in the hole last night look incredibly common while the game was still on the line. I think Alexi is underappreciated. He's not elite but he is a good SS in this league.

Alexei has played better thru these first 8 games than he did at any point last year.

That throw beat the runner to third but of course Alexei couldn't put it on the bag.

Flowers continuing the good work at the plate in his first at bat today.

That was a nice piece of hitting down 0-2. On a side note re: Abreu From what Ive seen so far I don't think he's going to have any trouble hitting 25-30 HR's and knocking in 90 plus. He looks like a good young hitter. This is where the Cubs / Sox shit just wears me out. Every touted prospect isn't going to work out, both sides have had plenty of failure in that area and a few hits just like every other fucking club. Some fans from each side go over the top in their expectations based on a small sample size. The whole " Well what about _________" is just mind numbingly repetitive.

I always get excited for young players doing well regardless of team. Always nice to see stars forming.

Abreu looks great. The only caution with him is seeing how he fares the second time around against pitchers.

Garcia and Eaton are both fun to watch

Going through the learning curve with Johnson is going to be painful.
