dude's fastball was way down in velocity last game versus last year. not a good sign.

I keep reading about his stuff. I don't see much stuff.

The guy pitches scared and with no presence. Hopefully it will come with age. I realize these are the things you have to accept out of young pitchers.

Arenado seems like a hell of a third baseman, which makes the two infield hits Eaton got that were hit to him that much better.

He won the Gold Glove last year. WWN thinks he's overrated.

From what we've seen this series that gold glove was definitely earned.

Don't know why anyone on the Sox would swing at anything breaking this guy throws. He hasn't thrown a slider / curve for a strike all game. Sit dead red boys!!

Rough game for Tank. That 3-1 swing on a ball was especially ugly.

Yup. Was starting to think this was gonna be a wasted inning. I like Gillaspie.

Would be nice to see Johnson and the pen hold the Rockies right where they are at, but I have pretty much no confidence in that.

I actually think Johnson is doing ok so far. Definitely bad but it could've been a lot worse. He's keeping us in the game at least.

The Viciedo/De Aza platoon is basically one guy plays until he pisses you off then the next guy comes in until he does the same

Garcia can do some pissing off in RF too so it would be beneficial to have DeAza play out there every so often just in case.

Nice fielding by Johnson. If he can get this last out, it would turn out to be an acceptable start IMO.

On the radio DJ said the ball came out as he rolled over and it would not have been a catch. He thinks the ump made a good call and that Ventura did a good job of not challenging it.

I must've missed that replay. The ones I saw showed it in his glove before and after rolling.

Maybe its like football where he has to complete the process of the catch or some bullshit. I'm for some sort of replay in baseball, but early on this system MLB is using has been pretty brutal.

Dj and Farmio broadcasting from right field....if the ball rolled out how the hell did he get it back in his mitt?

A trap? Is it possible to drop a ball and then pick it up again? The Rockies put their radio and TV booths in the outfield? Has your other lung collapsed yet?

Was it possible for him to????? The only way to tell if it rolled out was to be in right field...you do use chewing gum as birth control ..right?
