Have to admit it , that sucks. I didn't jump on the day after opening day pic, because it's one of the worst attended games in all of baseball, especially in colder climates. I posted the pic and the quote of Hawk saying "10,625, I don't believe it", but thats why I posted it.

You work all week, hell, all winter and you see the first nice night. Your ace is pitching, your guy just clubbed 2 the night before, you know you can walk up and find some cheap tickets and I still don't think 13,605 was at the game. Maybe half that.

The whole "Sox fans need for their team to prove it" is just bullshit. It's an ever declining fan base and I made my point last night to the powers that be about almost everything I have written here over the past 5-10 years.

While I can't tell you what took hold and what didnt, their was this conversation.

Dick move by the sox today. Start an hour late and then delay the game at bottom 4. Plenty of opportunities to make up this guy with Cleveland. Shit like this.

May 26th Memorial Day. Perfect opportunity for a double-header and essentially a "weekend" day. But nope, just had to fit this game in today by delaying it an hour, then 25 minutes in the middle and having fans sit in the rain for other periods. Running the bases for kids got correctly cancelled due to rain. Couldn't have been more than 5,000 in the stands. But at least they milked us for all they could during the delays!!! These people can't help themselves.
