I know people like this.

Eh, I dunno. I think he's funny.

As for the sensitive thing....nowhere close to MeatPants. That guy is in a league of his own...

You really know somebody who thinks Selection Sunday is the best day of the sports calendar? I find that very hard to believe. Even people crazy about college hoops would find that ridiculous.

Maybe it's "people on Twitter."

AKA: nobody.

The drinky and Mac pairing has been a good easy listen. The lack of obese over-sensitivity is refreshing. I'm a bigfan

People who don't watch a lick of College Basketball until the tourney. People excited about Selection Sunday like it's a damn holiday. Yes....I am familiar with the type.

I notice folks around heare are quick to say "that guy isn't real" often times when it could just be that you don't come in contact with that person. Many things have and will continue to exist without us seeing them...

Drinky is the goods...

But you're changing what he said. There's a difference between "Selection Sunday is a great and exciting sports day" and "Selection Sunday is the best sports day of the year". We all know people who believe the former, I have talked to a lot of sports fans with a wide varying degree of interests, and I have never heard anybody express the latter opinion. And drinky stressed it more than once in his phony little rant. It's the whole Bernsteinish thing of taking a valid point and going to the extreme, and in the process undermining your original point.

You like Bernstein. It makes sense that you would like drinky. I don't. It's fine, different strokes for different folks and all that.

Going with Crystal light today?

Coffee, Simply Limeade for lunch....maybe some C-Lite (short for Crystal Light) for the ride home.

As far as Drinky....or anybody else on the radio for that matter, I think obvious hyperbole is being used. The people that don't like him...or Bernstein, will jump all over it. That's fine. I get it. It's easy to find fault with anything said by a person you don't dig.

You also are in the Larry ALS.

Your opinion is thus discarded. As it should be.

Today's show sounds like it's worth checking out later.

If nothing else for the Grimace talk... :D

Mac has now uttered Grimace's name 3 times total now. I don't think he's ever said the name this many times on the air before.

Just tuned in today and I swear I heard Mac say before going to break: The McNeil and Abbatacola Show..."

Wow, miss a little...

Decent enough show today. Macacola is getting stronger in Day 2. Drinky's still fighting the urge to go "full Bernstein." I want to like you Matt. I used to like you back in the halcyon days of 2006. Curb that inner Bernstein. It's your only hope.

Matt doesn't evoke emotions out of me like Bernstein or Rozner do. He seems a tad pompous, but nothing overly offensive.

Did anyone say Hawk? I think he has punch me face, partially to put him out of his misery and to save me from the misery that is a Sox broadcast.

Roger Goodell would be on the top of my list. And I'm going by their criteria and not even including anything he's said or done for that. Dude just has a really slappable/punchable face.

Grimace himself has a punch me face. It's really that ridiculous facial hair he adorns his chin with. That special type of goatee has become a white man staple in the last decade. Invariably the people who sport said chin bush are douchebags. Same type of guy who wears a backwards baseball cap.

Bad Brad is awesome! You can't punch a good ol boy with that ugly of a mug.

For Hockey I am going with Hartnell. It looks like his entire head is engulfed in flames.

Shocker that the dago thinks the only tolerable Johnny Depp movie is Donnie Brasco. Keep the stereotypes alive Drinky!

I dont have a problem if fans talk about low attendance figures amongst each other... but hearing sports radio personalities berate me for not going when they have free tickets for whatever games they want is very frustrating. When i heard opening day was not sold out i went online to check how much the cheap seats were and it was over $100 for two people (when you consider parking) to sit in the upper deck corner of the outfield.... i'm sorry that is not worth $100 to me.

Good points. Free tix, press passes, easy full access to park....STFU.

Don't forget the four hour work day, rather than eight or more, for most people.

Mac was saying during transition that he has enjoyed winging it with Drinky instead of having pre-show meetings, trying to micromanage the show. Grimace was pissed at Rozner for a while because he refused to do the meetings.
