The playoff beards are back. Unfortunately they didn't result in a Blackhawks win last night. On today's show the boys will discuss how meaningless some of these traditions are. They will also use terms like "ice coverage" and "puck control" and act like they know what the fuck they're talking about.

Speaking of traditions, it's Friday, which means Bob from Niles and Mike from Milwaukee should make an appearance. This is a tradition that actually works....to drive away the audience.

yeah it's a sign of just how much the show has fallen.... or i suppose how much the board-has-changed-without-the-MWSFMB/BIG-SHOW-circlejerks. idk how much of it was propped up by the speeps pillar (cuz i think i read, or at the very least most definitely inferred, that speeps was a "pillar of the community" here, to which i've formally been on record as to asking "why?"

but yeah, i can remember when being quick/clever enough to make the daily show thread was a big fucking deal. i can remember those days where i made one and then SHARK made one in the next few minutes (oblivious to mine) and there was the un/official thread wars. and it was a big deal.

I watched a little of the Wrigley Field special last night. Also, when I was at the game Friday, I noticed they have a bunch of different things going on promoting the park. One cool thing is a "Drink of the Decade" that will change with each homestand. I had the Old Fashioned on Friday. Bulleit Rye. Pretty good!

But in light of all this promotion and pride in Wrigley Field, I wish someone would ask dumbass bernstein just how disingenuous it would be for Ricketts to threaten to leave the park he is telling everyone is the greatest place on earth. How would that work exactly?
