It's embarrassing how much better Taj is than Boozer at this point.

yeah I was just getting ready to say that Boozer has been horrible. He needs to sit as much as possible.

What a terrible shot by them. If you're gonna go iso you gotta drive to the hoop. Beal will learn.

Anytime Kirk wants to stop taking and horribly missing long jumpers is cool with me.

Gibson has been playing his ass off. Kirk'w insistence on shooting in OT was a little bizarre and probably cost us the game. Noah played ok and finished some nice, contested shots, but he needs to play better on both ends also. You win DPOY and come top 4 in MVP voting, you damn sure better be in the conversation for best player in a playoff series, so far he hasn't been.

If Hinrich takes and misses a shot here I am driving up to Chicago and kicking his ass

If I thought they were going somewhere, I'd be more upset .... still depressing, just in it's proper context it's somewhat easier to mitigate the misery.

The Bulls partisans are going to be super-catty about the other playoff series now. I hope we don't have to tell people to STAY OUT OF BLACKHAWKS BUSINESS.

What? I'm pretty pissed about the Bulls losing tonight, but of course I want the Blackhawks to win tomorrow night. I think most people here feel the same way. Don't start another unnecessary hockey/basketball beef here Hair.

I don't mean people here, I was more thinking of Team Bernstein, whose members were already getting rather snotty about the Seabrook thing. The only real pro-Bulls/anti-Hawks people left here are Frank and Ivan.

It's hard for me to be too annoyed about this given how lopsided the officiating was in favor of the Bulls, especially in the second half. Yeah the timeout should have been given instead of the jump ball, but aside from that it felt like pretty much all of the other questionable calls in the game went against the Wizards.

Boozer on the bench in the 4th quarter?

Noah was injured, and Booz still can't get any 4th quarter burn.

upon reading this thread and the gamecap, I'm very glad I was busy last night and missed the game.

Boozer shouldn't be allowed to play another min. He wasn't ready to play AGAIN. I still can't believe that they didn't try to get Augustin the ball the last 17 minutes. Along with Taj he was the only reason they were in the game. My lady friend is a fan of Hinrich and I almost made her walk home because of it. He shot the Bulls out of the game and the refs helped with timely terrible calls. THAT'S WASN'T A JUMP BALL!

I watched the game again and Noah and Hinrich really cost the Bulls. Noah had some really bad turnovers and Kirk couldn't buy a basket. Augustin shot 2 shots in the past 13 mins and defense wasn't the reason. They just ran the offense away from him and Kirk seemed to be playing PG. They should have isolated him more or forced the ball in his hands. This is another poor coaching job in the playoffs by Thibs. In 2 out of his 4 years he's been bad. You can't blow double digit leads in back to back games.

I thought this Mr. Destructo piece killed Matt Yglesias.

Matthew Yglesias—a Norelco marketing experiment to see if a hand-drawn Sharpie beard on a peeled potato could sell men's earrings—wrote a morally and intellectually odious article at his second job yesterday. His Slate column, "Different Places Have Different Safety Rules and That's OK," addressed the deaths of 161 workers in a factory collapse in Bangladesh with the tone they so richly deserved: bored.

Ah, that Matt Yglesias. Last I read anything by Yglesias he was riding Andrew Sullivan's dick over at The Atlantic. I think they are both gone from The Atlantic now.

Yglesias is also somewhat infamous for the often poor spelling of his blog posts, a weakness to which he frankly admits.
