We all know it no secret that the broadcasts (radio and TV) are terrible for the Sox.

At this point though Jerry would never change it. I think he even knows he should, but I don't think the benefit outweighs his personal enjoyment of listening to them and how he thinks they represent his team.

At least they provide great drops for WSCR.

RPB is correct. Blyleven is pretty good, and the Royals had Splitorff who wasn't bad before he kicked it. The Detroit and Cleveland guys suck.

If Hawk is the best play by play guy in the division, the rest of them must be "boom goes the dynamite" guy level of bad.

The two clowns who call Tigers games aren't that far off such a level.

Cleveland's real talent is in the radio booth. Tom Hamilton is the motherfucking man. Pretty much runs a solo booth like Uecker except for mid-game break and comment here and there from 2nd guy. Easily top 3 favorite radio play-by-play man.

Steve Physioc was kind of a doofus with the Angels. I believe he coined "Big Bad Vladdy Daddy," for instance.

I hear Hawk say stupid shit every time I hear him talk...Stone is bad now, hawk sucked the life out of him..the broadcast blows. I heard hawk say something about Big Papi killing the sox when he was a twin...n how great he was back then...

I remember ortiz not doing shit in minnesota n being a continually injured nobody...steve stone didn't even correct this hillbilly n agreed. Ortiz was let go because he was not very good...until he got peds.
