But for how long? Mac leaves soon and he's leaving forever. If he runs from the Score how will he make money? This points to him either having a deal already in the works for an extension,(not probable) he is quitting the business for good (nope) or that he is already in talks with WGN which is the most likely scenario. Either way he has been pretty loose for a while now, like a man that knows he is at the finish line. We shall see, Meat was already taking shots while not in studio and now Mac is punishing him in studio....not good.

Speaking of finish lines....Mac might want to get a physical and some blood work done soon, very soon. Depending on family history his incredibly poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, lack of any sort of consistent exercise and use of exogenous testosterone (won't directly cause a rise in cholesterol but could exacerbate a present condition depending on heredity) he may find himself on a table with his ribs cracked open....

This is such a "New Gen" thing to do, do commercials for "not feeling like a man!" because you have low T and how you should get some T injections to "feel young and like a man!" and then brag on radio that your comically obese, lazy, eat like shit, don't exercise and have to wear 40 size pants. Testosterone is the the goods and a fellow human is wasting it.

Sad.

Post in Peace

SomeGuy.

I'll be tuning in. Been a pretty entertaining show this week. Too many good Grimace images out there.
Hard to top Grimace eating the kid.

Given Spiegel's drinking problem I think he's more similar to O'Grimacey:

A large, purple monster-like character who was first introduced in November 1971 as the "Evil Grimace". In Grimace's first two appearances, he was depicted with two pairs of arms with which to steal milkshakes.

Commercials and merchandise generally portrayed Grimace as a well-meaning simpleton whose clumsy antics provided a comic foil to Ronald McDonald. His appearance changed to reflect this characteristic in 1985, from a giant purple slob with a pink mouth and small pupils to a gentle giant with movable eyebrows and eyelids, and a kid-friendlier smile with a black mouth and a pink tongue

Grimace was portrayed as a ham radio enthusiast who used a homemade transmitter made from a colander.

All sounds very much like Spiegel

Yeah, the very first thing that jumps into my head when it comes to introducing rock-and-roll to anyone who has never it before would be a rip-roaring, rollicking tune from The Band

The Band is awesome.

But you gotta pick something from The Who or Zeppelin for that question.

The Band was great, but not what pops into my head when it comes to "rock-and-roll".

I mean, cliche as it may be, to give anyone a first taste of rock and roll, pick an early classic from any the following:

Chuck Berry
Little Richard
Buddy Holly
Elvis
The Beatles
Stones
Who
Zep
ZZTop
AC/DC
and many, many more...and they'll get the jist long before something from The Band.

I'm not giving them anything from ACDC if the goal is to get them to like rock n roll.

I'll admit it was an offbeat choice by Spiegs but in the vein of Berry and Little Richard he is right on. I'll drop a
link of the performance he is referencing. It is a good version of the song with awful video.

FF is right on AC/DC. I had a chance to see ZZ Top for free a couple years ago at a work function in a small
setting and didn't bother attending. Just not my cup of tea.

"Possibly one of" is being pretty generous.

Wasn't KISS just a marketing thing? Were any of them actual musicians?

They're incredibly boring. Really uninspiring stuff. Same with KISS.

From Celebrity Net Worth

Gene Simmons 300 million
Paul Stanley 125 million

They did some marketing right thats for sure.

If High Voltage or Let There Be Rock don't inspire you to bob your head to the rhythm or throw a fist in the air, you have no soul.

I won't soapbox for KISS because they have done a lot of stuff I have disliked. I'm still a fan, though.

Or "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock And Roll)"

Or "Whole Lotta Rosie"

Or "Shot Down In Flames"

Or "Shoot To Thrill"

Or...
