Probably, but I like the burger at Red Robin's a bit better and the fries a whole lot better.

but the burger.....totally agree, best fast food burger there is

completely agree about the beef, and i don't understand why that is. everything else i've had is good...i like getting a dog, cheeseburger, large fry and slice of chocolate cake if it's serious grease time.

Well maybe we can talk about purses and all the ineffective cucumber-scented soaps in the organic aisle at Fresh Market too .... :D

Five guys has been open here for about 3 years and I have no desire to go. There are plenty of local bars around that serve great burgers.

I used to live in Lemont. From what I've heard, Nick's is not what it used to be.

I ate there about 20 years ago and it was awesome. I think it's changed owners about 2 times since then.

What kind of society do we live in where a "good" burger is deemed expensive at ~$5?

I prefer Smashburger above all the other choices, but that, as well as Meatheads, Five Guys, etc...

All worth the price.

Can't bitch about the quality of a $2.50 Quarter Pounder or $2.50 Whopper if you're going to bitch about spending more for a better burger.

When you can point me to a place with a good burger for ~ $5.00 anymore, I'll try it. Good Luck with that.

I will say, though, the 12 oz. burgers at Williamson's in New Lenox on half-price Tuesdays ($4.50 for burger and fries, though some toppings are extra) is the best bang-for-buck burger I've had in awhile, although you may have to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. During the rest of the week, even at regular price, a pretty good deal for a sit-down joint.

Red Robin is disgusting and the only thing worse than their burgers are the 'endless' fries. Why would I want to eat more shit?

It's better than "fast food" and they are WAY better than Chili's burgers.

I'd rather eat a QPC from McDOnald's any day of the week. The new Clubhouse Burger at McD's is better than anything RR has ever served.

Chili's is an abomination that should be removed from existence.

yep, great burger. a greasy sloppy delight.

As for 5 guys, burgers are good, fries are awful. Only been once, no desire to go back.

I tried it, it was only ok. The Habenero QP is a better sandwich in my opinion.

Customer: Five Guys, eh? (Takes a bite) One…two…Hey, what’s the big idea?

Five Guys: Oh, we admit it. It’s only two guys, two and a half, tops! We just wanted to be big men in front of the kids.

Kid: Five Guys, are you going to jail?

Five Guys: We’ll see, son. We’ll see.

I'm eating one of these right now and thus far I've failed to find any redeeming qualities with it.

Well my take on Smash Burger is that it is a lot better than 5 guys. I enjoyed it and the fries with the oil and stuff on them was a nice change on fries and I love fries.

The McDonalds club burger is okay nothing special but better than most McDonalds.
My rankings of my 5fav burgers besides White Castle as they are in a league of their own

1 Hardees
2 Culvers
3 Hooters
4 Wendys
5 Smash
I still want to find a way to try Inan Out all I hear is good things about them.
