There is nothing that gets the adrenaline pumping more than the NFL draft! I'll never forget that landmark telecast in 1988 when Chris Berman led his cameraman on complete tour of Thurman Thomas' refrigerator. I can't wait for tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still seems shorter than an MLB game.

i'm with you, JORR. i can't take it anymore...i stayed up all night watching ESPN just thinking that maybe they tricked me and that the draft will really start at 3am and not thursday night. i can't wait for goodell to bring this to london so those guys out there can see what they're missing and maybe it'll help globalize the game even more.

Yes, we'll know the NFL is truly international if hooligans do the monkey chant during the selection of Teddy Bridgewater.

In fairness, the NFL draft is only like the 100th best thing about the NFL. That still puts it above everything but Blackhawks playoff games.

What I can't figure out is how the CSO scheduled Marc-André Hamelin to play Hadyn's Concerto in D Major opposite the draft. Maybe Mully can make a call over there to tell them how dumb they are.

Don't be so asshurt the NFL overtook MLB. This should be a time of good tidings and great joy.

Baseball will be talked about again once the NHL/NBA Final are done and training camp begins. That's like a whole month!

Baseball is pretty great at filling in the gaps of the sports calendar.

i think they should blend the MLB draft into the NFL draft. the saints could use some pitchers and 2B they could convert into a short stop or outfielder.

LOL I am there.

With so many teams to cheer for how do you stay on top of all the potential picks?

This thing is horrible, boring and silly.

Not the worst, though, that falls to the 8 months of terrible, predictable cock sucking DRAFT COVERAGE.

There is a great irony in "Fan level arbiter" JORR mocking people for enjoying and watching the NFL draft.

Having walkout music for the draft picks is going to make this awful. This isn't the NBA. I don't need to hear fucking drake 500 times.

It's just another episode of your favorite TV show. Sets up the new season. Sort of like when they have all the morons on American Idol before they narrow down the field.

I still don't understand how this is a bad thing.

The NFL is more compelling on television than baseball. HAHAHAHAHA

No. There are more morons than intelligent people. That's why Brittney Spears sells more records than Lydia Loveless.

The NBA doesn't do that at their draft.

The GF and I plan on going out for dinner tonight. I probably should call ahead to ensure the restaurant is open. Wouldn't put it past them to close on a national holiday like the NFL draft.
