One DL stint and he missed 3 games in a row. Missing a few games has probably even happened to the almighty Rizzo at some point.

Did I say that was the expectation or where the bar was set? No. I was merely pointing out how the Sox pulled in a guy off the street-- who was 2-10 over his last 14 MLB starts-- and he completely shut down the Cubs in their home ballpark.

Its funny to see Cubs fans grasping at straws trying to cut the mild success the Sox have had so far this year after the beat the Cubs a couple of games. The Cubs have been losing 90+ games for 3 (this will make 4) straight years, and its only after a few losses to the Sox that the Cubs fans get their dander up. Maybe now you finally realize how far behind Theo's plan is and that there is little to no hope of contending until 2016 at the earliest. Have fun with all of that.

I don't think the injuries change it. That cant be predicted. Eaton looks like a great leadoff hitter for the Sox so far so I'd say that still counts in Hahn's favor.

The Sale and Quintana contracts were a great move also.

I am disappointed in Davidson but both Garcia trades, the Eaton trade, the Abreu signing, the Nieto Rule 5 acquisition, patience with Flowers and Viciedo and the signing of Todd Steverson all look like smart moves today and into the long term. Even with Davidson, you did a fantastic job with the steal of Gillaspie the year before.

You should have signed at least one extra veteran SP but we all make our mistakes.
