Bill Polian compared his combined work to 2 other players, very similar and he showed basically that Sams cant cover or as they say STAND UP, from the LB position.

Sams vertical was worse than mine in high school. Basically his numbers were really bad when compared to undersized college DE's that are probably going to play LB in the NFL

Sams refused all interviews, stories, etc since his press conference, so the NFL network did kind of a cool piece on him and his buddies on the team. One dude was pretty funny about how one day Sams just says 'So anyways I am gay" and they said, "OK, so we got that out of the way, now whats for dinner?"

the tape on him at Miss pro day showed him trying to cover RB's coming out of the backfiled and he just cant.

every highlight tape you see on him is rushing the QB.

Polian said, that scouts who watched him said he has a quick first step to get around OL. They claim thats his chance to make it, but a 255 pound DE, that cant move inside or cover. Tough hill to climb.

Yep... seems to be about the only thing he does. I know Greggg Williams is the Czar of the Rush, but the benefit there is that you don't know who is rushing. If he's out there, you have to assume he is rushing --- if not rushing, now you have the weak spot to attack. I don't see it working, but that goes for basically every player drafted in the seventh round.
