Not for the decade or so going against Mc Neil. I don't think they did that all in the midday time slot either but I could be wrong

Well Mac beat them ususally, but B&B had decent ratings in a good demo. they made money.
This.
Yes, MJH beat B&B for many books. They were a ratings juggernaut and B&B took a while to catch up following their move to afternoons. B&B did close the gap and ultimately beat them in a few books beginning in late 2008. After that they were pretty much neck & neck...not the complete beat-down that some seem to believe.

That was old and tired MJH .

It will be interesting to see the ratings for the next couple of Months & if B&B continue to get their ass kicked by W&S.

Marriotti regularly beat them when they went head to head in mid days.

They have never been a consistent juggernaut.

Yep. More truth about B&B that certain people aren't gonna like.

They sure act arrogant though.

I've come around on Harry. He isn't as bad as I thought. Unfortunately, his 2 partners on The Game are terrible...Spike & Payton.

this is true. I've been saying this for years, and I'm a fan. They're a niche show. No idea what guy had the smart idea to put them in drive time, but it ruined a good show that had a smaller base of fans more in line with its thrust. A turn to drive time has brought out the worst in Dan. Take this show back to mid-days, bring back second hand news, decrease the listening base, and let's have fun again. While you're at it, bring back shorty george for updates.

What kind of relationship does JR have with ESPN?

Edit: forgot the Bulls are on WMVP. Maybe becuase he's a Cub fan?

I remember the situation being Jay Mariotti daily grinding on Reinsdorf, and Silvy picking up the Mariotti cudgel during a Reinsdorf interview. I thought Reinsdorf's reaction was, "Oh no, not you too (not one of us)! I'm through with you."

White Sox opening day. Silvy and Carm got an exclusive interview with Our Dear Chairman. S and C asked JR questions about the Bulls. Apparently, JR had told someone in setting up the interview no Bulls questions were allowed. This was never relayed to S and C. JR told them it was their last interview with him and they'd never get "another bite at the apple." The Sox were on MVP back then but JR was looking for reasons to break the relationship. The interview seemed like a pretext to me.

I was referring to MJH as being Juggernauts when B & B made the move to drive time.

Harry is pretty bad, but he was essential to the success of the MJH show
