It's here. I actually watched both the Indy Lights race and the stupid pit-stop challenge on Thursday. The Indy lights race was great, finish was less than 2 ft. There was a really nasty wreck toward the end too, kid suffered a broken wrist.

I'm watching the GP2 race on NBCsN right now and will watch most of all 3 races tomorrow.

I know donspiracy watches F1 too, anybody else? Indy Car? Let's do this. 8)

NBC was a black screen for me for the first five minutes this morning...then it was 25 minutes of hearing about the two leaders who are teammates but apparently don't like each other (ZOMG shock)

I love this track and F1 racing in general...to make such a variety of turns at such a high speed and seem to hardly ever wreck it...awesome...

First place is locked up at this point, but boy that fight for second is shaping up to be entertaining.

My god Lewis Hamilton is pouting around like a spurned high school lover.

I was just glad bad things happened to Vettel. Maybe he got to see his old pal Marc Webber on his boat in the marina.

Hope this years Indy 500 has as much lead passing as last years did. After getting to watch the race in person last year, it gave me a better appreciation for the spectacle of such a big event.

...and the Indy pre-race show just got weird. I'm sure the art director who has never seen a lap of car racing in their life thought it was brilliant.

Skinny guy in full body black latex suit w/ mask hops into a tub of milk. Then hops out with a weightlifters body, but keeps the mask on.

Zombie Indy Car

Also, thought the playing of Taps, with the guns shooting off and National Anthem were awesome.

OK well I saw the start and the finish. It is a shame I used to love Indy and paid Nascar no mind. Well today 1-2 were my fave yellow cars from Penske just like when I loved Mears. And of course an Andretti comes in third. I am in a time warp. I will never forget when Michael ran out of fuel on the final lap in the lead.

Guy gives his kid a kiss on victory lane and his kid gives him a look like "who the fuck are you and why are you covered with mommy juice?"
