It doesn't just end with this silly donation thing, leash. It has (and will) open things up to all the Jason Bernstein jokes and such. The constant discussion of a child just creeps me out. Can't really quanify it, I guess. It just feels wrong to me. He's a proud father talking about his kids. If somebody doesn't care for it, listening to something else is the only logical step.

Why is it silly? A casual listener who constantly hears about the hosts son could find that odd and creepy. What bigfan did way more being an asshole about it than being creepy.

A father talking about his child to his friends or co-workers, etc is not creepy. I agree there. I think its actually a bit creepy for a father or mother who is a public figure to constantly brings his children to that public forum.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to be OK with the above yet NOT be OK with somebody else talking about that child, who was brought into the discussion by his/her very own parent.
