I was unaware that chestnut set the new record there. Was held by some Reds pitcher (Franks...?) 1 steak in 9 minutes.

I can only compare this to my own indulging on my birthday at age of 24ish, got the double porterhouse at Mortons, 48 Ozer. Maybe knocked down 1/2 and couldnt eat another bit! Now, maybe if I really know what I was going for that night, I would not have eaten during the day, but even then...30 ozs? Max...and she is knocking down 144 Oz in 9 minutes! Plus salad! Baked taters!

It's just impressive

My BIL knocked down one of those Big Texan steak deals at a wedding rehearsal party somewhere outside of Lubbock. He finished it, held it in long enough to win the prize and puked it up

This will probably seem like an upset, but I haven't the first interest in "competitive eating" other than the inappropriate giggle I might let go of thinking about how many African people couldn't fathom such a concept.

That said, apparently according to her Wikipedia page this 125-lb woman won the Wing Bowl XXII eating contest (record 363 chicken wings) ... the next day, she won the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival (5 lbs of bacon in 3 min) AFTER winning the IHOP Pancake Bowl (59 pancakes) ... then the next day, she won the Adam Emenecker Challenge (whatever the flying fuck that means) by eating 5 lbs of barbecue.

That's just inhuman.

that's also how you achieve elevation from the toilet seat when you have to shit. good lord man to do all that i think you'd need some sort of prodigious sphincter even more than you'd need a versatile stomach.

Guessing her plumber retired shortly following that gastric spree ...

I would think it'd be a lot less painful just to hide some food in her purse during the competition ...

Is that why Ron Schuler left the Sox? To train his daughter in eating the competition?

Always thought that eating contests would end up being shitting contests, at some point...
