There has to be an other selection. Fielder had a n awesome year but had a great supporting cast. I don't think you can have an MVP come from a team that may have two candidates so Wright and Reyes are out in my book. Holliday has a very strong case but if the Rockies don't make it he won't win it and Ramirez had to be a joke. I think Jimmy Rollins deserves it this year.

I guess Howard, Utley, Rowand, Burell are not much of a supporting cast.
The Phils have 5 guys with 85+RBI's; the Brewers 1.
The Phils have 4 guys with 80+ runs: the Brewers 1.

Fielder in a landslide.

Well Utley was out for a while, Burrell is streaky, Howard wasn't himself until August and the one constant they had all year was Rollins. Also they lost half their pitching staff and had to score those runs to win.

I vote Fielder. Even though the Brewers aren't tearing it up, he has been a one man gang for periods throughout the season.
Holliday also gets some strong support from me.
