Good on you guys for the Battlefield demo, and that beta launching today...nice job keeping that secret. Otherwise, this was about as pedestrian as a press conference can get. Needed to see a lot more in game footage and a lot less dev-diary/ViDoc commentary on how great these games are going to be two/three years from now.

Well yeah, but the teaser stuff used to at least be a nice CG render of what they think the game is going to look like to give you an idea of what to expect...a great deal of this was literally just people talking about the games and brief cuts of "concept footage" that is so early in the process that it looks like it would run on a PS2.

I think the switch may be due to backlash over bullshots and hopeful footage running on a souped up PC not representing anything close to the finished product.
