De Paul and Loyola were pretty comparable with their club teams and I know a lot of the Loyola players did not play in high school.

So much unnecessary hatred for Laurence on this board. The guy works his ass off. I guess it's a crime to annunciate clear thoughts on the radio nowadays.

I feel bad for him that he's saddled with Hampton (again) and Mike Adamle on the Channel 5 Sunday night sports show in the Fall. That's some brutal television - but not because of LH.

Too bad the thoughts suck. Wont deny he works hard and wants to be good.....and cool, but in a nerdy way, not just real cool.

Spmack, it isn't 1980 anymore. You cant possibly honestly believe that Larry barely makes $100K.

How did his first pitch go tonight? He was debating throwing a knuckleball to John (Danks).

to be fair to teachers, that is $1,500 per trimester plus summer school so that number should be edited to $6,000 to be consistent with the rest of the yearly salaries of that group

Well, he pondered the same thought last week, but quickly realized it wouldn't be smart to risk injuring Chris (Sale), who was catching him.

I was at that game.

I was in Left Field but could feel the intimidation factor even out there. Sale knew he was catching a fellow flame thrower.

Disagree. He's learning to smile normally instead of that HUUUGGGEEE one he used to sport that looked like a 5 year old trying to make his mom stop taking pictures.

I thought the only 6 figures guys work from 6am-6pm.

Leary is now just doing community work by letting us hear him as much as possible. It's no longer about him, he is doing it for the people.

yet, I rarely actually hear him.

Yes I lie. I tuned into Silverchalice.com today to listen to Leary host a 2 hour roundtable on deep sports thoughts with a bunch of other people I would even want to hear their opinion if you paid me and fed me.

Bet Leary slayed some serious tang after that first pitch. Whips out his instagram, and the ladies swoon.

Sir clearly threw it better. JNiiice looks like he is hurling a grenade. Sir has a nice form with trunk rotation, a V in his pitching arm and good release point. He's also showing off a little of the gun show.

I like that Score shirt. Remember when the station actually gave away promotional swag?
