You've got this wrong. Its not about arbitration at this point.

The only time that comes up is if a guy is ready out of spring training and they hold him back for a month or so.

Right now they truly believe he needs to develop more. Should they fuck with his development in the name of making the MLB team better? You could argue that.

Isn't the time for delaying arbitration June 1?

Anyway, he won't be here until whatever that date is in 2015. Of course, we were saying the same thing about Baez last year.
