What a luxury it is to have a 1B who has more than one stroke. Homers, doubles, singles. When he was in a funk he still walked. A complete hitter. I think this far superior business is becoming flipped

Stones content has been crutal for the past 2 years. He finds one stat for the week, then repeats it on everyones show all week.

For 2 years he has also been ripping on Cleveland. According to Stone they just got lucky this year and this year they arent good. Well, guess what, they are in front of the Sox and they have young good players.

Maybe he can elighten us more about how Abreu came to America and his professionalsim rubbed off on Viciedo and thats why V was hitting .354. Now he can explain why he is hitting .254?

I am glad he is killing it, but dont evelaute the guy on a Hot streak. I would love to be wrong and see 2 months of this player.

At the same time, Rizzo gets a ton of credit because he is seeing pitches that he has made them throw to him. He has taken away some weak points and teams now need to scout him again.

Looking at the stats Abreu is the obvious leader over Springer. It's silly to suggest otherwise. We'll see if that changes.

Rizzo looks awesome lately. It'll be cool if him and Abreu both keep it up. I think either one has a chance of looking way better than the other one.

I really can't stand Stone's analysis of starting pitching. If an inning is kept alive after an error he completely absolves the SP of whatever happens from that point on. He could allow 3 HRs but as long as it says 1 or 0 ER in their line at the end of the night it was a brilliant outing according to him.

fair enough but he has had both hot and cold streaks this year. These stats are for the entire season, so it already factored in peaks and valleys.

Aside from the obvious its really nice to watch a player who consistently works counts and gets on base. That type of player has been largely absent from the Cubs for the most part in recent times. Valbuena as well, to a certain extent quite naturally
