Fired up my TuneIn, and it was still on 670 from yesterday afternoon's listening. I hear the wheezy one, well, wheezing and the giant man blustering about NBA basketball. meatpants offers up that he was at The Cell watching Sale pitch last night, so did not see any of the playoff game - only having seen an extended recap on TV. McNeil sits quietly. meatpants then starts to say that he had heard that the Heat "quit", that they had a little quit in them -- having not watched the game, meat bring on the mic some producer. He stutters and stammers a bit, saying that he wasn't sure as he had stopped watching the game at some point. But did offer "based on the stats, I think you could say they quit, sure."

Great insight. The guys literally get paid to talk sports - and no one on the midday show can be bothered to watch game 4 of the NBA Finals?

Good God, it's been a LONG time since I heard this show and I have to admit that it's somewhat comforting knowing that it's as craptacular as ever.

The extended weekend before his last week is definitely a classic move but I'm willing to cut a little slack on the appointment time. The Mac and Spiegs show is 9-1 and Mac stuck around for 10 mins or so of crosstalk. He could have stayed 10 mins longer but it was clear he wasn't participating in the convo so what's the diff?
