Chara led the Bruins to a President's Trophy with a defensive corps that lost Ference and Seidenberg from last year. Weber had 23 goals on a Nashville team that couldn't get scoring from anyone else.

The knock on Keith is that he doesn't get as many starts in his own end as Hjalmarsson and Oduya, but that just speaks to what an important defensive specialist Hjalmarsson has become. I don't see anyone nominating him for the Norris. Probably because he doesn't have as many points as Keith! And around we go.

Good for him.

There were times I thought he was not so good in the playoffs though.

Uh yeah. There was one play I think might have been the last game leading to one of their goals. He was skating from behind the net and flipped it up the side of the boards. None of our guys were around, they got it and scored soon there after. There was no reason for him not to skate with it or try to get it to somebody. It was odd and it plays in my head.
