He turns down 1.2 million??????? Are you fucking kidding me?

Suck it up for a few years and cash some checks. Eddie says JoBo must have saved his money but for fucks sake, Jerry....that's huge nest egg money right there.

For the record, both Volkman and Colborn say they’re 58

Being partners (radio) I guess doesn't mean having to say "I Love You." Even in a mutually beneficial way like this scenario, one partner seems motivated by something beyond what has defined him. Unlike North, who thought himself to be worth more than what the market (CBS) would bare, JoBo now seems uninterested in doing what up until recently he expressed the interest to pursue. I don't doubt that Eddie has been banking on a return to radio and is now not just left out, but probably a little more out of pocket than he would like.

To this day I've never heard Terry Boers explain why he was willing to part with Dan McNeil. Whatever salary he now commands is a direct result of McNeil opening the door for him.

Well if JoBO did indeed invest wisely and live frugally while he and Volkman were making the big dough, he sure as hell can live pretty cheaply in Freeport for the rest of his days on his portfolio returns alone.

Cheaply, yes, but dressed as a 58-year-old white Gangster Disciple in Freeport, I would hesitate to say "comfortably."

I'm just kidding. I am not familiar with Freeport, or the town's gang affiliations.

I remember hearing JoBo tell a story in his deep fake radio voice about a chick he picked up on Oak Street Beach. He talked about the tiny bikini she was wearing and then he said, "You know what she was wearing an hour later in my apartment? Absolutely nothing!" Kind of strange since I'm fairly certain he's as queer as a three dollar bill.

If the guy did save his cash, owns the house outright, a few cars and gets $15K-$25K+ from investments monthly....$200K isnt shit and I can see how he would say, fuck it.

That was 200 grand for the rest of this year and 500 grand for each of the next 2 years. He must have really saved and Invested well because there is no way either will get this kind of offer anytime soon.

Hmm. Didn't know that Mrs. Garry Meier was JoBo's agent.

Eddie reportedly tweeted "I'm proud that I was the first media person in Chicago's Pride Parade. Ironic that the gay partner was too drunk & coked up to participate," but the link is now dead. My account was hacked!

Feder posted this slideshow of Eddie & JoBo pictures: http://www.robertfeder.com/2014/06/29/t ... ie-jobo-2/ It's, um, harrowing.

Eddie and JoBo circa slandering Joan Esposito, I presume?

Anyway, I don't even understand why LS-FM wanted to hire them in the first place. I mean, I do, because it fits their programming philosophy, but I don't get why it's their philosophy in the first place. I've always found it odd that they pay big bucks to hire erstwhile big-name Chicago DJs (Robert Murphy, John Records Landecker, Dick Biondi) and then neither have them talk much like they used to nor play any of the music they were known for playing. I mean, backselling the same old fucking Boston/Cars/Petty songs 104.3 and the Drive play and giving the weather, I could do that.

Yeah, that's the truth. I actually wondered if it was the same Robert Murphy from "Murph in the Morning". I figured it had to be, but why pay him when you could get a Connor McKnight to do it for a quarter of the price?

Is he standing on a chair there or something? That's a bizarre staging.
