What a whole lot of loud noises over nothing.

Like $5 a month with many health plans.

$15 co-pay for procedure
$15 co-pay for follow up
$5 for Norco Rx

Speak for yourself. There was a stretch where it seemed like a kiss from me was good enough to get someone pregnant.

I mean, how many days a month can a woman get pregnant?

I bet half or more of the board will have to look up that answer.

I have a lot of things in my blood. A side of my family is from Liberia and my great great grandmother looked a little bit like you.

This argument goes both ways though. It's not that expensive for the company either.

The issue here is that the "religious rights" of a corporation have been considered more important than the "religious rights" of a person/employee. Most losses of rights have a way to get around it. It's not as good, and it doesn't mean it is fair.

The really maddening thing here is that a bunch of corporate executives religious feelings were considered more important than the employees. Do you honestly think the executives at Hobby Lobby would spend even one minute caring that a small percentage of their insurance goes towards medically accepted and approved methods of female health? Should that even matter? Should basic insurance needs be dictated by a bunch of religious executives who feel that their opinion is more important than mine, the medical professionals who helped craft the legislation, and Congress?

You are right. This won't be a devastating cost for most women. However, as I'm sure you are aware about rights, they often don't just stop being eroded. Personally, I hope Hobby Lobby stops covering unmarried women who get pregnant. After all, isn't that a bigger sin than birth control?

It also should be pointed out that virtually everyone pays for a significant portion of their own healthcare by a deduction of your wages. So, the rights of a person who is only indirectly paying for your insurance through revenue to the company is considered more important than a person who is directly paying for a significant portion of the health insurance for themselves.

I don't think you understand what happened here.

By executive order, the POTUS claimed that you had a constitutional right to have SOMEONE ELSE pay for YOUR birth control.

You are a lawyer I believe.

Kindly point to where you believe that the constitution gives you that right.

No, but some of them will not pay for it themselves. If not for this decision they would have their birth control. Just a fact.

The decision leaves them to be accountable for the decisions that they choose to make. Or not make for that matter.
