30 minute overtime. Then penalty kicks.

USMNT advances with a win, tie or even a loss--if the other teams left in the tournament give up and decide to go watch the new season of Under the Dome instead.

Stratergy--the Belgians' tootsies will be too sore to do much in the 2nd half, after that many kicks.

Belgium's last 6 World Cup goals have come after the 70th minute.

Maybe you're right. The US realized that Belgium is horrible at corner kicks.

Only a matter of time before that 7 foot tall Belgian oaf gets his afro on one and puts it in the net.

My favorite part of soccer is how you actually hear the crowd start cheering when the ball gets to the 25% of the field closest to the goal. I can only imagine they are all thinking "Yeah! Something may actually happen!".

As a Purdue and White Sox fan, I can understand why hearing crowd noise at a sporting event would seem odd to you.

Belgium could swap out their goalie for another fielder and be none the worse off.

I've been to plenty of Ohio State and Notre Dame games at Purdue thank you very much.

I think Dempsey should be allowed to use his hands. It only seems fair.

I enjoy it when we are able to pull off a miracle and get the ball to the other goalie.

Have the goal...keepers (tenders?) even touched the ball yet? Has there been any viable attempts to score?

We suck. They have 18 shots on goal and we have 3. Reminds me of Game 7 Kings vs Hawks in the 2nd and 3rd period.

Their goalkeep might nod off and then Bradley will accidentally trip over the ball and squirt it in. V-I-C-T-O-R-E-E-E

The best defense of the United States is hoping the other team is offside.

4th shot. The goalie had to move about 3 feet to get this one too!

The defense has to be exhausted.
