Does anyone know what the status of the Euro pick is? Too lazy to look his name (and status) up, but is he joining the team this year or next?

I don't know when the hell he's serious. He used to hate Cutler with me.

This isn't new. Someone gave me the nickname Nastimistic a few years ago. I've been disappointed by Cutler so many times that I sometimes hate the guy. Since he is such a big part of what the Bears do I have to try to hope that he puts it all together.

Mirotic will be traded or he'll come join the Bulls if they can sign and trade for Melo or they completely strikeout.

Haven't read any of this...but Melo here feels bad for some reason.

14-15 season is a practice year.

James/Wade/Bosh are re-upping with the Heat.

Flip Saunders is too pussy to trade Kevin Love, so Love will finish out his contract in Minnesota.

Biggest surprise: Gordon Hayward to the Heat.

Utah has too many young players and they are still a few seasons away from competing in the West. Heat will offer Hayward $12 mil+ and the Jazz will let him walk.

Oh, and Doug McDermott still isn't an NBA caliber player.

Melo doesn't have to live here forever. A lot of Bulls players just rent or they have multiple homes.

Rose may need a shout out if it's true.

Quote:
The Bulls left the meeting and dinner feeling very confident that Anthony is seriously considering signing with Chicago, according to sources close to the situation.

Translation, Melo kept a straight face and didn't bust out laughing until the van that dropped him off at his hotel/Ohare was around the corner.

Quote:
Later, the Bulls’ brass made a pitch centered around the fact that a core of Anthony, Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson – with Tom Thibodeau coaching – would be able to contend right away in the depleted Eastern Conference.

Carlos Boozer on twitter? Tweet that at him.

Nas don't you think there will be similar articles posted tomorrow about the Mavs and Rockets being confident?

Probably.

And Nas will (or should) say that Dwight Howard needs a shoutout for trying to persuade Melo to make his team better.

Do the Rockets have the cap space?

Mavs and Lakers--why go to the Western conference if you want to win in the next few seasons.

The Bulls are the best fit so I am not worried about Houston or Dallas

It's easier to go through the East.

For what it's worth, KC Johnson is reporting Rose did not attend the dinner. Probably denied a spot at the table when he told the hostess he refused to reserve seats on behalf of the Bulls.

So since Melo obviously wanted to see DRose get some work in, was it acceptable to have the meeting in that location and then go to dinner?

I think seeing Rose workout probably helps if it was a good workout.

I like to think he was being chased by Mike Wilhelm waving a broom.
