I've played Star Wars and Harry Potter. I'm currently wrapping up LOTR. Will probably move on the Indiana Jones or the Lego Movie next.

I think it's going to be the reason I get a PS4...actually, if I get one, that will be the reason. I just wish it wasn't the final game in the series. At least, that's what they say.

I always took it to mean that this is the final Arkham game, but not the final DC game from Rocksteady. Rumors have swirled for a while now that they were working on or would be working on a Justice League game set in the silver age.

Justice League would be excellent; but I could play Batman Arkham games forever. If they wanted to bust out one every two or three years, I'd always be done to buy it.

Yeah I'm hypocritical that way. I don't get the Call of Duty Hype every year or so, but I pre-order every Assassins' and Arkham game and will continue to do so. Currently I'm working on Castlevania LoS and Dust.

I'm up to 42 now and close to completing Enslaved : Odyssey to the West. It's a nice little game that not many have played but worth checking out though collecting all the tech orbs is a bitch so be fore warned.

I remember going for that platinum a couple years ago and finishing off collecting all the tech orbs was the last thing I had left. If I recall correctly, there's like over 1000 orbs in the game to grab and I was only missing one. I kept searching where I could of sworn it should be and there was nothing. I was so mad and gave up on the platinum. My ps3 was out of shape though and having some problems loading textures so when I get a new ps3 about a few months later I decided to pop in the game again and sure enough, the orb loaded and I got the platinum.

It's a solid game. Good story, good characters with good voice acting. The gameplay is kind of stale though.

I am one achievement short of getting 1000 on Watch Dogs...the damn drinking game challenges are fucking insane...everything else in the game was either of normal difficulty or just required a lot of time but these require hand/eye coordination that are beyond my abilities at the moment.

Is that a Ubisoft thing? I remember some of those mini games in AC III were damn near impossible on the hardest difficulty. And speaking of Watch Dogs, should I pick it up on 360 or wait until I upgrade to the One?

Yeah, Ubisoft...

...I would hold off on purchasing it for next gen if you think you'll be making the plunge soon...pretty sure some of the game modes are only available on next gen and I can only imagine that graphics are noticeably inferior on 360.

Plus if you get it on One we could be friends and wreck people in Decryption. 8)

Yeah, I normally give Namco games a shot and I was happy with my purchase. Still haven't finished all the orbs yet. I'm following some video guides but some just aren't where they say they are. I almost always love collectables in games, but this one is pushing my limits.

More than likely will do that. I'm working on quite the back log through GameFly right now anyway. Are there online co-op achievements/trophies? That's the one thing in waiting on some games, trying to scrounge up some people months or years later.

There were a few online achievements in there...

Complete 10 public online races
Invade and successfully hack 10 enemy fixers in online hacking
Invade and successfully observe 10 enemy fixers in online tailing
Get tailed 5 times
Complete an online tailing without being detected

Those were the only five I picked out from viewing the list that would require online play.

Great post Darkside!

I've reached 88% on Half Life 2 for achievements. Episode 1 is 62% and 2 is 50%. So... no. Thinking now of going back to try to get to 100% on HL2.

While not techincally an achievement per se, I'm pretty sure I'm going to wind up having to get every star, stamp, and top of the flag pole in Super Mario World 3D...the completionist in me demands it.

I'm pretty close on Diablo 3. Need one more.

hell no, but when i was a kid i did code aophun v1b4 and a031337 to run on top of aol (which i was using cmaster.exe to get on) and totally rip off aohell.

i prolly got on some sort of watch list for that, so i like to think that predates the great online video game achievement thing.

That reminds me of the time I was bored to tears and tried to hit every brick in Super Mario Brothers 2.

I got to 100% on Red Dead Redemption, but it took forever.

+1 on the Arkham games, which are incredible.

Hats off there young Marston on Red Dead. Those online cheevos couldn't have been easy. Love the gta games, but Red Dead is my favorite Rockstar production followed by Bully and the first Manhunt.

I have played many 'normal' games like the Borderlands, Bioshock, Forza, Assassin, Lego, Prototype, and Mass Effect series ... Fallout 3 which is the greatest game ever ... FarCry 3 and Godfather II were really nice (the former until the end anyway) ... this Dead Rising game that was free a month or so ago has been delightfully chewing up hours for me the last week or so)

To this day, Manhunt was one of the best atmospheres in any game I've played. F'd up is a great way to describe it. I was however terribly disappointed with Manhunt 2. Oh, and how could I have forgotten to add The Warriors to my Rockstar list. Great experience for those of us who loved the film.

71 platinums, 72 tomorrow.

Let's get the names of those games. Mine are.....

Afro Samurai (If you're a fan of the Anime then definitely check this somewhat different presentation of the source material.)
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed Revelations
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag
Batman Arkham Asylum
Batman Arkham Asylum : Game of The Year
Batman Arkham City
Bioshock (If you haven't played this series yet go do it now. But play this before Bioshock Infinite.)
Brothers : A Tale of Two Sons (One of the most emotional experiences you'll ever have playing a video game.)
Bully : Scholarship Edition (Not what one would expect from Rockstar, but it's damn fun.)
Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Call of Jaurez : Gunslinger (If you're a fan of anything to do with the Old West than I implore you to check this out. Fun, fun and more fun. Made me want to pull out my Young Guns DVD.)
Captain America : Super Soldier
Castlevania : Symphony of The Night
CSI : Fatal Conspiracy
Darksiders : Wrath of War
Dead Rising 2 : Case Zero
Deadlight
Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim
MLB 2k6
NBA 2k6
Prince of Persia : The Forgotten Sands
Saints Row The Third (Never wanted to give these a chance but I'm now glad I did. The sheer Over the Topness of these games are something else. One could argue you'll have more fun playing these two than any gta game.)
Saints Row IV (See above. Keith David and Roddy Piper. Trust me.)
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Great artwork and an even better soundtrack. Check out Paul Robertson's other work. The guy is talented.
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution
Sleeping Dogs
Superman Returns
Terminator Salvation
The Godfather
The Godfather II
The Walking Dead (Point and click adventure that you shouldn't miss out on. Great writing and emotional game play. Once you're done you'll want season two and then you can get into "The Wolf Among Us." which is based on the Fables comic books which you should also check out.)
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell : Conviction
Toy Soldiers : Cold War
Viking : Battle for Asgard
Virtua Fighter 2
WWE All Stars
WWE Legends of Wrestlemania
X-Men Origins : Wolverine

1 Achievement away from completion for the following.....

Bioshock Infinite. Great great game but damn the Blue Ribbon achievement. Damn it to hell.
Brother's In Arms : Hell's Highway. Just waiting for September 17 to finish this one off.
Enslaved : Odyssey to the West. A few tech orb locations away from adding this to the completed list.
Limbo. Have to complete this in less than four deaths. Kicking my ass so far.
Shank. Beating this on hard difficulty is HARD.

I believe I played about ten minutes of Manhunt 2, and while I found the use of motion controls to be a nice addition, yeah, it wasn't really doing it for me overall.

But the irony that it was only available on the family friendly Nintendo Wii wasn't lost of me.

It was odd to see that type of game on the Wii. I know they were and are still battling the "it's for kids perception" but it was still strange. I'm sure they've done studies and make more money not doing it, but I wonder what it would be like if Nintendo became just a publisher/developer aside from the portable market.

I think it would take something akin to the Sega downfall where the Saturn tanked and the Dreamcast never really caught on before Nintendo would give up on the hardware business. I'm sure some would argue they have made the first step with the Wii U but I think this system could still end up doing alright for them.

I know I've said this here before but I really believe as long as there isn't another serious player in the console market that Nintendo will keep doing it's thing...3 seems to be the sweet spot as far as the number of consoles the market is able to support at any given time.

Well I've gotten all these things in everything up to the final world (which doesn't unlock prior to performing said feats) and I just managed to beat "Champion's Road" with Mario, meaning I'm only the fucking Marathon Mystery House away from having done everything I can with Mario.

Then I'll have to go back and beat every level with the other four characters.

Progressing towards the completion of The Saboteur. It's a fun little sandbox game. You play as Irishman who's helping the French resistance and you get to blow lots and lots of things up.
