Actually same here. Im not gonna pander to the board and say Im mad about this, obviously Im happy for the Packers, but that will simply be bad radio tomorrow. Mac will most likely rub it in to an already pissed off fan base, and I doubt there will be any insight or even any real entertainment transmitted from the 1000 AM frequency. I might give B&B a try for once tomorrw. At least Im curious of their opinions on it.

Let me paraphrase Rex Grossman's comments in his post game interview: I really felt that we had the game in control for awhile...we were able to do what we wanted to do offensively, especially in the first half. OK, it's official, this guy's a fucking moron. YOU SCORED 3 POINTS IN THE FIRST HALF....THREE!!!!

This might be the worse offense I've ever seen and I've been a Bears fan for the 25 years I've been alive. They can't do anything good. The passing game looked good for a while but they went back to the run and turned it over. Rex got the ball backed and panicked and turned it over. Their offense is just so bad that it's almost nothing you can do about it. Thank God that the Lions are here next game. Wholesale changes need to be made on offense though. Nothing is working Rex was as good as every player on offense but when you throw a touchdown to the other team you lose it all on that one play. Like I've said for that past year I'm a Bears fan first. Bears offense sucks so things need to change.

If things dont change, the coaching staff needs to change. Thats mainly a shot at Lovie, everyone and their mother knows Turner needs to go NOW. He is Schoop-esque.

Unfortunately, plays that you DON'T make count for zero points.

He also looked like a kid who got caught doing something really bad and is about to cry and avoid an inevitable whooping.

He apparently went to the Roy Williams school of game analysis

In all fairness to Rex... I do feel bad for him, the same way that I feel bad for anyone who doesn't live up to the expectations that the fans have set for him (and I'm sure that he has set for himself.) He's probably one of the 40 or 50 best QBs on the face of the Earth. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean jack, but it still has to be a horrible feeling- you're one of the top .01% at your profession, but that just isn't good enough, and every one else knows that. Your name has become a synonym for horrible play, even though there are far worse out there. I'm frustrated with his play, and I'm angry as a fan, but I still do feel bad for the person.

Yup, in contrast you see relative nonames ready to kill to take Favre's passes to the house. It was telling when someone quoted Tommie saying that they have to be behind Rex, but he is not going to be the one saying something on a mic.

Yes, I agree. I'm just saying, that's all. I know he needs to be benched. That doesn't mean I don't feel for the guy, just like Joey Harrington or David Carr or anyone else who seems like a fairly likeable person who just isn't good enough.

This isn't really accurate. Even if you count the CFL and Arena league, there's only, what, 300 professional quarterbacks...and who's to say some of those guys in the CFL or Arena aren't better than him OR how many backup quarterbacks in the NFL are better than him. I'd put him in the top third in his profession...and that's being nice considering the fact that his numbers just aren't that good. Top third is nice...but save your tears for his next game.

I'm counting college players, high school prospects who never pan out, etc. Just to make it to the NFL takes an inordinate amount of talent. For every one who makes it there's another 10,000 who don't. Every town in America has a kid with a good arm who loves to play football. A ton of them are superstars in their community on their high school football teams. Still, 99% aren't good enough and go into something else, and 1% go to play in college. Most of these players just sit on the bench. Some really good ones start at schools like Ball St. and East Carolina. Some really, really good ones red shirt at major football schools. Still, 99% aren't good enough, even at major schools; starting as QB at a school like Nebraska or Ohio State does not mean you get a ticket into the NFL. But still, a select few get drafted by NFL teams. A few of these players get a chance to start. Once you've reached that point, you're a very gifted QB, and there was a lot less separating Peyton Manning and Ryan Leaf than there was separating Ryan Leaf and the college QBs he competed against who were never drafted or even considered.

I know what you're sayin...I'm just not in the mood to feel sorry for Rex right now just because he's better than some 15 year old kid playing for a JV high school team. Besides, you said "profession"....everyone you mentioned are amateurs, not professionals. You might as well count all the people who tried out for their football team and didn't make it...or the guys that wanted to try out but their parents wouldn't sign the permission slip...or the girls that weren't allowed to participate in boys sports. If that's the case....then yeah, he's in the top percentile. But he sucks in the NFL

The Pack looks good FF, but slow down a bit...when's the last time a team has made it to the playoffs with three wins?

Dude I am not writing the Pack a playoff ticket yet whatsoever. They definitely look like the best team through week 3, but the operative phrase there is week 3. I actually am also a Sox fan like Frank. My only point was keep your anger where it should be, dont misguide it to me and GB. Lovie needs to be held accountable for this, and you guys most of all need to be the ones to hold him accountable. The fans speak volumes, just keep your anger focused is all im saying. I havent blamed the Bears for the Packers stinking up the joint for the past 2 seasons.

packers beat 2 shittyteams before this week. if they eagles could have fielded a punt, they'd have beaten GB.

there's teams in the NFC that are 2-1 who are better than the packers.

You clearly arent watching the games. If the Eagles could field a punt they would have lost in OT to the Pack. They clearly look like the best team in the North, and if you say otherwise, then I expect you to claim the White Sox were better than the Indians this year.

Through 3 weeks, and I am emphasising 3 weeks, the Packers and Cowboys clearly look like the best teams in the NFC. If you say otherwise, no offense but I will just assume you are bitter about todays outcome.

I'm not really impressed with the Cowboys....They just beat a team that can't score and keeps losing its players on defense. They're obviously good, and definitely good enough to win the NFC...but that's not really saying much when you consider the best 8 teams in the NFC (by record) include the following: Redskins, Packers, Lions, Panthers, Buccaneers, 49ers, Seahawks.

I've been saying this since the day the grabbed him. He blows. All these reports from training camp about how he fits perfectly in the Tampa 2 D mean nothing. When he can't get off the bench for the Redskins, why do you think he's suddenly good enough for the Bears?
