This show is wrecked today....and it's only Monday!

I like Grimace fine (much more than most of the folks on this board), but this is incredibly bad. A guy like Spiegs should be more evolved hosting with a woman than this, it's like a combo of a pervy creepy old guy talking to a woman with Spiegs doing that old "Chris Farley Show" bit from SNL...

Anyone still questioning if Mac is going to get paid well?

The same thing that he always does...nothing.

He is the epitome of a passive play-it-safe do-nothing Manager.

Sounds Inspectah Deck-ish.

I have never thought of him as being any of those things at the station or even on his own show. He really is delusional. But based on the quotes people posted about how he sees his cover band, I suppose I'm not surprised he'd say that.

Man, Meat's sound off at yhe end of transition sounded like his next stop was the roof of the Sears Tower for him to challenge gravity.

Defeated.

You both may or may not know this but the Muse for the character was Tom Cruise

We talked about how Martian-like Patrick Bateman was, how he was looking at the world like somebody from another planet, watching what people did and trying to work out the right way to behave. And then one day he called me and he had been watching Tom Cruise on David Letterman, and he just had this very intense friendliness with nothing behind the eyes, and he was really taken with this energy.

Anybody catch Peggy's DaaMaaNeeel impression during transition? After taking exception to being compared to Danny Mac, she let out a "I hate women".

Interesting...

She didn't care for it, either. And telling the story just makes the Ramblin Grimace nickname appear more apropos.

Can't remember if I mentioned it, but met the lady in question at a Silvy bar event in Forest Park a few years back. Silvy introduced me to her, and she said her name, I was like "that rings a bell".....then I remembered the McNeil suspension.

Sounds like Peggy is just counting the minutes until this shitfest is over. Grimace is horrible as usual as the driver. Zero prep and awful ideas. Lawrence must be loving this.

Half way through the show you could tell she doesn't want to be there.
