Someone Emailed Mikey about what Jiggs said on Dahl's show, regarding you would have to ask Mike why they broke up.

North's response was that he was not Jiggs last partner, Mac was! and actually Jiggs last gig was as a solo guy!

Well Mikey, the questions was why you broke up the show with him? The question was not who was Jiggs last partner.

But as usual you change the topic, yell real loud and move on when you are to blame.

Mikey said everyone is blaming him for their career! I always thought Mike has something to do with the breakup and he really confirmed that with his reply and responce.

As much of a North supporter as I am, this is the one sin I cannot overcome. At least two sources have detailed the breakup of both the monsters and hfc as being engineered by north. That move effectively ended the golden era of the station for many reasons.

no. he was an asskisser. the reason north/jiggs got ratings was because the score was new. north got a big head and got greedy and the idiots running the station caved. jiggs floundered after a couple yrs on the score. how he keeps a job is beyond me

The station has never recovered from the hfc breakup. It is refreshing to hear some actual football talk (college & pro) at 2:00 now. As for north, just stop listening.
