Mrs. Scorehead & I eat out alot at Japanese Hibachi restaurants & have tried many different ones, but Shinto in Naperville on Rt. 59 is in a league by themselves. Great Hibachi & Sushi along with great service & a very nice modern restaurant. We went here last Thursday & loved it so much we went back tonight with my Daughter & found out that on Tuesdays they offer a $12 full Hibachi meal & $5 Martinis. Mondays all rolls are 1/2 price, & Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 all appetizers are 1/2 price. They probably have about 20 Hibachi tables & the place was packed full by the time we left & if you don't get here early enough you will need a reservation. For many years our Tuesdays have been spent at The Country House on Tuesday nights for the .50 cent Oysters, but from now on we will be here.

I'm sorry, I just have a thing about seafood. Turns out scallops and mussels are good, but I'm still holding out on lobster and oysters. I need a level of abstraction in my food that eating raw oysters just can't deliver.

I used to feel the same way. Then I was basically forced to eat them for various reasons and now I actually look forward to getting all sorts of seafood. I think it just takes repeated consumption and a Caveman Diet.
