I made it all up, the quote I got planted on a Boston site last year in preparation for this very thread.

Jerry didnt run the team with an executive committee of Schuler, Hemond and Dennis Gilbertson. I just made it all up because it sounded good.

What happened is Jerry made kenny the GM and let him do as he wish.

Just wondering, did kenny want Ozzie too?

I disagree. I dont see any of that. And they dont need a participation trophy, they are the reigning World Series champs.

They have a certain dynamic in the clubhouse and they believe in it. I cant see the link to participation trophies. Teams being teams instead of 25 teams, 25 Cabs is nothing new.

Hell wasnt AJ one of the main DONT STOP BELIEVIN guys?
