I missed the roster announcements...ESPN didn't have audio of any of it except for when Twins were announced...and the starting lineup. Hopefully online somewhere they will have video, I cannot find a Fox encore tonight on Fox or Fox Sports.

Target Field has a reputation for suppressing offense as well

I guess the "conventional" wisdom dictates that the marginal, casual fan digs the long ball. Like many things in the Selig era, this is stone age thinking.

You can take the boy off the Cubs but you can't take the Cub out of the boy. Dumbass Donaldson would have been safe if he hadn't slid. You don't see Cardinals do that.

Cardinals are such a smart baseball team that they:

-pick the wrong starting pitcher, who promptly gets lit up
-"groove" pitches that are hit for a lead off double
-admit to the national media that they grooved the pitch that was hit for a lead off double

The high camera angle on pitches bothers me. I don't watch many Target Field games. Is this the standard broadcast camera?
