Good pickup.

He's the worst defensive player on the team. Offensively he should help.

Behind McDermott?

McDermott plays good team defense (he'll be in the right spot). I'm not sure if Brooks can be in the right spot to stop a chair.

Bulls trying to get back into the Love trade talk.

Taj, Jimmy, and other assets supposedly.

That's not even close to what Cleveland could offer.

If I have a shot at Wiggins, I wouldn't even acknowledge the Bulls until I hear Mirotic, McDermott, Butler, Snell, and picks.

You wouldn't take back 3 SF if you are Minnesota. The only chance the Bulls have is to offer to take back several bad contracts. They don't have enough flexibility to pull that off. Minnesota would be foolish to take the Bulls offer over the Cavs and Warriors.

Well I agree on Minnesota being foolish but I don't think three SFs are a problem. I'd think of them more along the lines of assets rather than think in terms of position only.

I think Minnesota is doing the right thing by creating a market for Love. The obvious targets are Thompson or Wiggins. The Bulls this time are being played.

If the Bulls can force Cleveland to give up Wiggins and Thompson then it's a win for the Bulls.

I wouldn't acknowledge an offer from the Bulls if I heard that Snell was included in it.

He cut his hair though.

Do we really know if Wiggins is the goods? Clearly Bennett was awful last season. The Warriors had the best offer. Proven talent and cap relief.

Chris Sheridan ‏@sheridanhoops 11m

EXCLUSIVE: #Bulls have offered Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic and Doug McDermott to #Twolves for K.Love, per NBA source. http://www.sheridanhoops.com/2014/07/23 ... -for-love/

Wow, that is a pretty steep price...

If Dunleavy was in there instead of Mirotic or Dougie I would be okay with that.

Minnesota would/should never do that. It would insult the intelligence of any minimally competent GM to offer Dunleavy in a deal for anything other than cap reasons.

If they trade mcbuckets we better check on MITC.

That's a solid offer and the math works. Swap Martin for Dunleavy and Minnesota would probably take the deal.

Edit: A couple first round picks too.

It could be. I really like McDermott and would prefer if Butler was swapped out for him.

You just gotta trust their ability to judge talent, etc. and I'm sure Thibs has a major say so in this...

Don't know about over the long run but he went forward with James to Cleveland two days before the story broke.

I don't recall him ever being right. That being said if he were right this time the Bulls offer would be better than Cleveland's.

- Love was healthy last season but has been hurt more times than not past few years.

- Rose hasn't really played in over two years.

-Gasol hasn't played as much last few years.

- Noah played his first full season last year for the frist time in five years.
