It may have been the closest thing to perfect I've ever seen from a television series. There probably were some down points, but I can't remember a shitty episode.

Yeah, the last season of BB, True Detective, and season 3 of Boardwalk Empire all stick out to me. Season 4 of GoT was pretty great as well... But I still haven't seen any eps of the 'Wire' tho.
