They can get their fill of him tonight in a new Prep Sports Show. At least they decided to kick the show off with that powerhouse of powerhouses, Providence Catholic (too bad he will not be able to witness the glory and prestige of a Bishop Kaffer Stadium).

What a low scoring game tonight that was between East and Providence.

The Lincoln-Way teams won't be worth anything after they split the two existing schools to make two new ones. I think LW North opens next year, meaning, East will no longer be anything special... and then LW West opens the following year, meaning Central will go from average to bad.

J Hood sucks ass. Unfunny, uncomfortable, unintelligent, and uninformed. Steve Dahl's son is better than J Hood.

The crap he pulled with Telander was uncalled for as well. It was like he planned to make the guy look like an idiot, which made the whole show terrible.

I have never seen a Radio guy blow his chance as much as Hood did, just to serve his own vengance.

I never remember Hood saying the voice he was doing is that of an "Italian NW Side guy".

And by the way. North has done much worse and avoided suspension...

You mean the guy who quit mid-show, after being complete asswipe on the air to his co-workers, listeners, and athletes?

Telander has zero biz being on radio. The guy has made a jock-suck living off of the 85 Bears for so damn long, he has zero skill to be in sports radio.

Think I don't like the guy? J Hood might be an ass, but he at least was right when it came to Telander.

Telander was both a great writer at Sports Illustrated and an excellent co host of the popular radio show The Sports Writers. He has national name recognition and a history of success. That is why the show was named for him. Hood may disagree with the show name but this is the business he chooses to be in.

It was like Lance Briggs complaining about the salary cap.

a. I'd like specific examples of "stupid crap" said by Hood. He does the Chicago "superfan" schtick, but calling it racist is stretching it a tad.

b. Management didn't even slap North on the wrist for the whole "Chinaman" nonsense.

Calling Hood a racist is just too extreme.

Wait a second. You talked to a guy that is new at the Score and he didn't know Larry is black? You're either trying to be funny or this guy is dumb.

How could you look at Larry and not know he's black? Because...well...the color of his skin is black. That would be the give away to me.

Or you are saying that this guy has never seen Larry and you're saying black people should talk a certain way. Or your buddy is thinking that. What are you saying?

I enjoy Carmen/Hood at night. It's relaxed, you get some live updates, good for people who are driving, maybe home, during that time slot
