I am tired of Pandora and since the guys are supposed to be at training camp I am going to give it
my ear today in the hopes of hearing some Bears news and interviews. Going to see if Bears chatter
can possibly save this show. I don't have real high hopes, but there is a chance. Hopefully Hub isn't
too annoying. I like him generally.

Anybody bring up the fact yet that the Bears defense is gonna be old as hell? Tillman, Wilson, Jennings, Briggs, Williams, Allen, Ratliff. Lots of old guys there.

Solid interview with Rich Campbell. I don't remember having him on before so maybe he is kinda new to the beat.
Lots of pretty good info there.

the last few seasons this defense has gotten hurt and bad during the 2nd half of the season.... last year it was way worse than the dropoff seen in the 2011, 2012 2nd halfs of seasons

I can't do it. Hub and his smarmy, sarcastic chuckle are too much for me. Plus, Spiegel can't drive a show to save his life.

With how much the Bears dominate the Chicago sports landscape I struggle to comprehend how Hub finds so many things people haven't or don't talk about.

Full Metal Lingo when Hub's in the House. I think I heard him use the phrase "Two-gap Penetrator" in a serious manner.

Hub giggles like a school girl when he talks about a player potentially committing murder or being caught on video being his girlfriend. But when he says Jay Cutler needs to stop forcing balls in places they shouldn't go, he's all business.

The awkward giggle is becoming an epidemic. Hub was the original carrier.

I work with a few people who do the weird giggle. I think it's an involuntary response that occurs when someone tries to be authoritative but, deep down, doesn't have the self confidence to be authoritative. The weird moment when they know someone could challenge them back is filled with an awkward giggle.

That's football thinking. Gay people are distractions, native Americans are mascots, women are for beating, and Jay Cutler is a bad guy.

Guess now he can inflate his ego by saying "I challanged the guy..."

Let's keep a running tally of how many times the Score plays this. You know for damn sure it will be on M&H again tomorrow. Probably the 8:00 hour.

A few weeks ago, Hub was hosting and talking about how the Cubs rebuilding plan is flawed because you don't need to be bad at the major league level to find good players in the draft. He then applied that same logic to the NFL, which surprised me since Hub is football expert, you'd think he know that the chances of finding impact players outside of Rounds 1 and 2 is pretty slim. For every Tom Brady, there are dozens and dozens of players who barley sniff the NFL. I assume that most of the talent in the major league draft is also taken early with some exceptions, but I find it pretty hard to argue that "drafting better" is as simple as he makes it sound.

Brain slump? It's gone on much too long to be called a slump at this point...

Well NFL players are pretty big guys, I don't think I could keep from giggling a little if I caught one on tape being Hub's girlfriend. I'm not that evolved
