Addicted again. Playing Gods and Kings. Won two games this weekend on the average setting with America. I need to bump up the level - not just because it is pretty easy, but there is very little military conflict on that level. Everyone wants to be friends. Love this freakin game. I'm going to wait to play it a lot till this winter when the kid is born and I lose the ability to leave the house.

IMU won't want to hear this, but I'm also going to break out Revolution to play when I only have an hour or two. The Game of the Week mixes things up nicely.

I like Civ Revolution. It is short and I can play on XBox. I dont need to play forever.

I've never played Revolutions or 5. I'm still playing 4...

4 and 5 are tied (with all expansions installed).

Revolution is tenth.

"But there aren't 10 iterations of the series IMU!"

Sometimes I want to have fun playing a game and move along. I can get thru a game of Revolution quickly and have fun doing so. I've played other versions, so I know it is a dumbed down version. That's OK with me.

I still play Freeciv 2.0.10. The fancy graphics don't impress me.

I'm going to choose to look down on the Xbox Revolution crowd also, because it sounds like a simpleton's game designed for someone like leashyourkids or Hank Scorpio. I have never played it.

It's an efficient game. And I have Playstation.

Too bad... You, me and Lipid could have went multiplayer on this.

That is too bad.

Could you imagine playing with FF? He probably gets indignant when he has to choose a government.

It's all about the mechanics. It's basically the same game as Civ 2, but with tons of user developed content. I actually enjoy some of the graphic sets that random users had made.

Which leads me to another question... how is the mod community for 5, as compared to 4?

I rename my religion Voluntaryism. I wish I was kidding. But I don't really give cities a choice. In my defense, I basically have to be a hypocrite to play that game.
