didn't hear it and havent heard any of the Low t commercials, but yesterday they were playing Mac doing Low T stuff, which would seem strange.

I remeber them playing Murph commercials long after he was gone. North too.

Doesn't mean Mac is gone. It could just be Mitch trying to turn the screws & put more pressure on Mac to re-up.

As much as I want Mac to leave The Score for either WGN or The Game, it would be great to see Mac take the afternoon slot away from Berns.

The two best fill ins I heard were Grote and Jim Miller. I wouldn't be surprised to anything that Mitch or Zimmerman conclude is wise...neither are very sharp and they have let Larry hang around for a decade .

I sadly think you are absolutely correct. I also think he thinks he does fine without Mac. Part of me thinks that Mitch loves these long Mac pauses for the brief spike in ratings with his return.

Zim probably doesn't mind it. I mean he's saving some money. These subs probably get 30% of what mac made per show. And it's not enough time for the advertisers to see that the ratings have dipped. So ad money is probably the same.

I still think the Matt's hate one an other. But they're good about pretending they don't just to do a few shows. If it were permanent, it would be bad between these two. I'm literally talking violence. Drinky's temper would get the best of him and he would do a "Ray Rice" on his new radio wife. There would be video of it. Mitch and Zim would only give drinky a 2 show suspension. The country would be outraged.

Then we'd get a week of shows of B&B telling us that drinky's a "great guy" despite hitting his radio wife a la John Harbaugh.

I think you are right....but Abattacola knows this is his one n only shot @ real gig...he has to get along great with Spiegel or he's fucked.
