Maybe. Probably.

Id put Jack Morris in for the same reason

Also Kirk Gibson. Maybe Id have a post-season specific wing

Geoff Blum gets in I hope.

RPB deserves that for the Gibson suggestion.

Whatever. Gibson is awesome.

If Blum hits another huge WS homerun for another team, like Gibson did (Tigers, Dodgers) then he'll get in.

JORR, I was using Gibson of an example of a guy who wouldnt get in on his career but might get in my post season wing.

El Duque would be in for sure

The post season wing is about guys who were great in the post season consistently (like Pablo Sandoval doesnt qualify yet) but didnt have Hall of Fame Careers.

Gibson
Hernandez
Josh Beckett

I voted Sale and Other (Cubs)

Sosa and other roiders may eventually be enshrined but I see that a long time in the future.

I thought Alex Gonzalez was great in '03.

I'm not terribly interested in reading another snooze-fest Cubs/Sox idiot argument thread, but we're all aware that nobody listed in that poll (other than the two "other" options) has the slightest chance of ever going into the hall of fame without a day's paid admission, right?

Uh, no. That actually seems like a pretty terrible thought.

Whatever; the Abreu/Rizzo abortion was more than enough for me today.

Maybe Chris Sale can be held out if only because there's a complete absence of a career to point to one way or the other.

People that think Buerle and Sosa would belong in the same building as Nolan Ryan and Hank Aaron should be excommunicated from baseball society.

Well he did hit a walk off homerun in the World Series

Nolan Ryan is a terrible name to use there.

Sosa will probably get in when they start letting the Roids guys in

I don't think Buehrle should get in. Sosa probably shouldn't, but I would let him in. I think Sale is off to the best start you basically can be to a career. He's absolutely dominant. And I think Rizzo and Abreu have a small chance. I don't think anyone on that list has a great chance, but to say there's not even a slight chance Sale, Abreu, or Rizzo can get in seems weird.

Probably less than 2 of the CORE 5 will make the Hall of Fame

Only history will tell. Not terrible at all, I am a small Hall kinda guy though. I don't see a HOF on that list either.
