If there are enough minutes for Noah, Gasol and Taj, I think there are enough for Noah, Love and Gasol.

Noah just plays 2-3 minutes less per game in that second scenario, as Gasol would play the 5 a bit more often than he would in the first scenario. And everyone remains in decent condition for the playoffs.

Another way to look at the Love to Bulls rumors is Chicago trying to drive up Love's price for Cleveland. Obviously that also works for Minnesota as well. Cleveland might want to try and call Chicago's possible bluff by giving Minnesota a take it or leave it offer. Of course that risks losing Love to a division rival if Chicago is indeed genuine about its interest in Love. Minnesota holds the leverage here, and to the extent that they do it's a good job by the GM trying to get the most value for a disgruntled superstar who has been open about his intention to leave. They might just have everyone dancing to the tune of the wolves' beat.

Kevin Love is not walking through that door. Don't believe it. The Wiggins signing story was leverage for the Cavs. Love to the Bulls is leverage for the T-wolves. Espn, and Chicago's fans seem to be pawns in these maneuvers.

Pawns? How so? Clearly they are not getting love but that is no boohoo. Raising the Cavs price is good business.

I'd say you can contend with him as your second best player, and dominate the league with him as your third best player.

He's definitely a lot cheaper. This may sound crazy but the more I think about it I am AGAINST trading for Love. I know this is a flip flop but I had to give it more thought. I don't think he can be the best player on a championship team. I don't think that he is a leader and it sounds like he may be a cancer. He proven that he isn't a winner.

I'm a no on the trade. Instantly lose depth if this is done.

One in the hand though. You know what Love is. Mirotic has no minutes right now either. Too much playing in front of him. I personally am in no way a Love fan, that being said this depth is built for consolidation and Love is clearly the best player in the deal. It doesn't matter though because Wiggins trumps all.

The unknown isn't really that unknown. Mirotic has been playing professionally for years and he only cost about $5.5M. Love is going to get a $100M contract next year and we really don't know what his numbers mean. Many believe that his numbers are inflated. He hasn't proven that he is a difference maker. IMO acquiring his is far more risky.

No defense and is injury-prone...giving up too much depth especially since we don't how Rose will be. I'll pass on Love.

Agreed. Even if Rose played at an MVP level the entire season I believe giving away cheap assets and investing over $100M in Love would be too risky.

Serge is good but Anthony Davis sign me up all day everyday for that.

If the trade is Kevin Love and Kevin Martin for Taj Gibson, Dunleavy, Mirotic, Butler, and a 1st round pick, you have to do it, don't you?

Ibaka is better than Taj but it isn't as if his game brings anything drastically different than what the bulls have. Davis is just a flat out stud.

But I believe Thibs is able to get the best defensively out of his personnel. It wouldn't be downright brutal.

Sorta. It is just more that it is a team scheme. He covered korver and made him better. He couldn't do anything with snell though. This season might be better for that ugly ugly man. Marco was moderately improved I guess. Derrick never has been anything close to elite although not bad. It isn't like Thibs could take eddy and turn him into Ben Wallace. He gets the most out of a squad though.

According to KC Johnson the Bulls don't want Love anymore.
