can't say i'm truly Meta (idk what you even mean by that) however a friend of mine once put up Meta Mo of Rubberoom, an old chicago rap group that carved out a digifunky niche in the chicago rap landscape for a few years there, for a few weeks.

i remember one night where he brandished his street cred to have us "breathing underwater" on a "hot block" cuz when we got there he yelled out "THESE WHITE BOYS WITH ME.... THEY COOL!" and proceeded to help us acquire the sacramento ave treat. previously i was like "man i dont wanna drive down there, i've got a nice car" and when we walked up to my 94 celica GT he was like "PFFT..... man i thought you had a high number benz or some shit.... haaaaa you're gonna be alright down there cuz it aint like [enwurds] gonna run inside and grab the crowbar cuz a celica is on the block"

so yeah, one thing i can definitely say about Meta is that being Meta = 94 celica GTs aint sheeeeit! and i definitely ain't Meta because that 94 celica GT was prolly my favorite car because it had all the efficency and "shit doesn't fall apart @ random" that my old GM N-body oldsmobile cutlass calais definitely didnt have, but my later 97 honda civic EX had. it's just that the civic felt like a nimble japanese driving machine and the celica felt more refined.... and that sport suspension that allowed you to take ~30-40mph corners if you felt arsed? RIP mon frere! that 84 year old bitch took you away from me too soon =/

and the other thing i can definitely say about meta (small M)??? you lot totally needed to hear these last few paragraphs of pertinent information.

btw in fairness to me (...and what's the fun in that? =) i can actually freestyle really good. even when i'm driving around in a car 7 years ago. so like, go figure that 2-5 years later i'm not exactly worse than i was then =D
